Tami Wanless is a passionate global educator speaking around the world on progressive dental hygiene topics. She holds a master’s degree in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University, a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and an associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Before teaming-up with Hu-Friedy as a Key Opinion Leader in 2013, Tami spent nearly 25 years teaching at three of Illinois’ dental hygiene programs. She has over thirty years of experience in clinical dental hygiene practice and has led numerous dental hygiene missions worldwide, providing care to underserved areas. She continues to work in private practice in the Chicagoland area and is the Chief Operating Officer of a software company. Tami authors and presents on a multitude of dental hygiene related topics, with an emphasis on hands-on instrument sharpening and clinical techniques sprinkled with enthusiasm.
